My path to IT began by playing text-based adventure games via floppy disk for the Apple IIe, (which some might remember as being similar to the Commador 64). Later in life, I studied Multitrack Audio Recording at San Francisco State’s Extension University which proved to be a hands-on lesson in higher-end PC configuration and troubleshooting.After becoming frustrated by the lack of career potential in the music/recording industry, I decided to further my education in Information Technology and Networking.  After graduation, my first job in IT was with a large Construction Company with several subsidiaries across California.

As a help-desk technician, our IT department of 6 supported a company of 400-600 employees (depending on the time of year). Continuing my education in the area of networking was my next priority by taking several certification courses through Las Positas College. While performing freelance computer repair work for over 10 years now, Fast Friendly Computers officially launched in January 2019.
